The drinking age is 21 for all fifty states, and there are petitions now going around in college's saying it would help binge drinking to lower the drinking age. It would be the government's job not to lower the drinking age, and regulate it.

A.Mother's Against Drunk Driving(MADD) say absolutely not.
1.They cite a 13 percent drop in traffic fatalities from driver's age 18 to 20 when they raised to legal drinking age to 21.
2.They helped push the congress to rasie the minimum drinking age to 21. The congress said that if the states failed to do so they would lose 10 percent of their federal highway funding.
